Sales Agents

Our agents are independent contractors who sell whole life, term life and annuity products, emphasizing the important role these products play in strengthening the family community. Contract employment is part-time and compensation is based on commissions and bonuses. Individuals may work from anywhere in Texas. Agents can sell life insurance and annuities for Hermann Sons Life and other carriers.

Candidates should be open to becoming a member of our organization. They should be licensed or be willing to obtain a license within one year.

Agents go through an orientation and training session and attend two mandatory seasonal workshops each year.

Sales agents work by contract and must be appointed to their positions. Sales agents work by commission and are responsible for their federal tax withholding.
