The Hermann Sons Life Home Office staff is busy formulating plans to provide relief to the residents of Texas who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey. “As a fraternal benefit society, we are dedicated to doing what we can to help communities in need,” President and CEO Buddy Preuss said. “There are millions of people who need our help and we can’t reach them all but we can and will do our part.” The Home Office will use money set aside in the disaster relief fund and will be accepting donations from members and lodges. “This is an unprecedented event in the history of Texas,” President Preuss said. “It will take years for our great state to recover. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has suffered a loss of any kind.” Those lodges and members wishing to make a donation can do so by clicking HERE or by mailing your donation to Hermann Sons Life Home Office, P.O. Box 1941, San Antonio, TX 78297-1941, Attn: Member Benefits Department. You can look for updates on how your donations are being spent by checking our Facebook page, website and the Hermann Sons Life newspaper.

Hello Friends,
We have been communicating, Dallas Lodge President Andy Schellenberg and Columbia Lodge President Bobby Wilbanks and myself on behalf of the Home Association, discussing how best to assist those in need due to the devastation suffered and suffering from the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. We discussed both collections of clothing, blankets, towels, etc., and donations. Andy and I just talked about the Home Office being the likely candidate for donations. Thanks for all you are doing!

Thank you for reaching out to us. Currently, because the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey is so widespread, monetary donations and food donations to pantries are preferred. Hermann Sons Life has set up the Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Fund. Donations can be made on this website through the home page or the address is provided in the article above.
