I am excited to announce the membership growth campaign slogan for 2019 – “Generations of Service & Protection.”
The theme ties together three important words for Hermann Sons Life.
“Generations” of families have been members of Hermann Sons Life in its 158-year history. In fact, some of our members boast of having four and five generations of Hermann Sons Life membership in their families.
“Service” is at the heart of what we do as a fraternal organization. Service is what sets us apart from other life insurance companies. We serve and strengthen our communities through our outreach projects. We serve each other by providing friendship and fellowship in good times and in bad.
“Protection” is what our life insurance and annuity products provide. We have plans that protect every member of every family from the “what ifs” in life.
This campaign theme will be used throughout the year to promote new Hermann Sons Life membership and to encourage members to keep the insurance coverage they have. Bringing in new members and retaining current members will serve to make Hermann Sons Life stronger so that it can in turn continue to strengthen all of the communities it serves.
Hermann Sons Life lodges and members are asked to help us carry out this campaign by recommending new members and by continuing to serve their communities whenever possible.
Lodges will be receiving their new member campaign goal shortly after the first of the year.
Throughout the year, the Home Office will be asking members to tell us what Hermann Sons Life membership has meant to them and their families. We will feature these members in a series of testimonials that will appear in the newspaper, on Facebook and on our website. Look for the first of these testimonials in the first week of the New Year.

The Marketing Department will continue to recognize members who recognize new members but with a little change. In 2019, two members will each receive a $50 gift card in the monthly recommender drawing. That doubles your chances of winning.
